In 2022, Sensonum established its Asia-Pacific Acoustic R&D Center in Suzhou^*. British and Chinese engineers combine core UK technologies with local needs, researching in-car noise reduction, spatial sound and digital acoustic algorithms.

The center includes an anechoic laboratory built to international standards and a digital acoustic algorithm laboratory. The first measures subtle acoustic differences and simulates different environments; the second develops DSP algorithms and context-specific sound models for more natural vehicle listening.

The production facility follows British premium quality standards. Its SMT line uses Yamaha^*high-speed placement equipment to manufacture amplifier PCBs and maintain consistency.

Full first-article testing

The first unit undergoes comprehensive acoustic testing to verify consistency and key performance from the start.

Extreme-environment validation

Batch products undergo automotive-grade high- and low-temperature, salt-spray, vibration and drop tests^*to assess durability under demanding conditions.

Full-function checks before delivery

All functions are checked before dispatch. Automotive products are validated against Toyota's^*1000-hour EMC immunity testing requirements^*to improve stability in complex electromagnetic environments.
