Retains two tweeters and five midrange drivers, replaces two front mid-bass drivers, and adds two rear surrounds, two overhead speakers and one subwoofer. The total of 14 includes retained factory drivers; it does not mean 14 new speakers.
DSP processing organizes direction and layers through overhead and rear surround speakers. This configuration applies to this Model Y solution. The listening result varies with source, seating and settings.
Six-dimensional settings cover depth focus, front and rear focus, mix level, bass enhancement and soundfield diffusion. Availability depends on compatible app, hardware and software versions.
Supports sound updates for compatible versions. Content and release dates follow actual announcements; some extended functions may require a separate subscription. This solution does not include seat-mounted haptic transducers.
